IVER ATKINS
AUDIO ENGINEER
Iver Atkins is a multi-disciplinary audio engineer and musician specializing in fine art recording, 3D audio, and psychoacoustics. Iver began his path to audio at a young age while studying saxophone and composition at a performing arts high school. While earning his bachelor’s and master’s degree in music and audio technology at New York University, Iver became the youngest student to ever be hired as a recording engineer at NYU’s James L. Dolan Studio. There he gained favor amongst several renowned classical musicians. After graduating, his aptitude for fine art production allowed Iver to secure a position as a recording and mixing engineer at the award-winning classical studio, Skillman Music where he contributed to grammy-nominated classical recordings. HOBO was happy to welcome Iver aboard as a studio engineer in 2022 when he shifted his focus to post-audio and sound design.
